How to Enroll Students in your Courses
In this article, we'll take a look at how to enroll students to your Open edX course.
Make sure you're in the LMS (Learning Management System). It looks like this:
We're going to start by clicking on the "Instructor" tab, which will take us the the Instructor Dashboard
Click the "MEMBERSHIP" subsection.
It's easy from here! In the text box below "BATCH ENROLLMENT" simply enter the email addresses of the students you wish to enroll, either one at a time or in a batch, separated by new lines or commas.
You may have noticed the checkbox for the option to Auto Enroll students is checked in this image. If you would rather elect to have your students enroll themselves after registering for Open edX, simply uncheck the box!
Make sure you click "Enroll" after you've entered all the students you wish to enroll.
Great! But what happens on the students' side of things?
Great question. If the student has not yet registered for edX, he or she will receive an email that looks something like this:
