Setting up your Open edX profile

Anyone on Open edX can create a profile that allows them to easily connect with one another. Here's a quick look at how it works!

After you have registered for Open edX, from the dashboard, click the arrow next to your username. Then click My Profile 

At this point, you will see your limited profile. If you are like this user, and you haven't specified your birth year, you will be unable to edit or share your full profile. 

In Account Settings, under the Additional Information (optional) section, you can easily change Year of Birth.

Now you should have the ability to edit your entire profile. Simply navigate to My Profile like we did before, and then click where ever you would like make changes.
