Moving students from one cohort to another

In order to move a learner from one cohort to another, all you have to do is manually enroll them in the cohort you wish to move them to. 

  1. In your course's LMS, click on the Instructor tab to navigate to the instructor dashboard
  2. Click on the Cohorts tab
  3. From the drop down menu, select the cohort you wish to move your student(s) to
  4. In the text box underneath Add students to this cohort type the username or email address of each student you wish to move to that cohort
  5. Click + Add Students

NOTE: This overwrites the students' previous cohort assignment. They will lose access to anything that is available only to their original cohort. This includes cohort-specific content and cohort-specific discussions.
