Resetting a timed exam in Open edX

If you want to reset a timed exam for a learner so that they can try again, it's actually a very simple process.

In your course, first navigate to the Special Exams tab of the Instructor dashboard. (Note: this tab will only appear if a timed exam is enabled and present in your course)

Next, select the Student Special Exam Attempts dropdown. This will show you a full list of exam attempts by your learners. To reset a particular learner's timed exam, find or search for the username of your learner, and simply click the [x] button next to their exam attempt.

This will reset their progress in this exam, and allow them to have another go at getting it right. Let's hope they do better next time!
